Description
Ever since I was a child, I have had a fascination with compasses. Their ability to react to the magnetic field of the earth were, to me, a source of wonder. It was probably my first awareness that some forces existed that were not visible to the eye. I've had this brass compass for years and not even sure where I got it from. I've just always had it. I carry it with me all the times in case I ever lose my sense of direction. With it, I know I'll find my way home.
